Why is the Chapps Rental Inspector only partially available in Belgium and Luxembourg?

If your company or organisation is established in Belgium or Luxembourg, the Chapps Rental Inspector is only available to the following categories:

• Social housing organisations

• Healthcare and care organisations

• Public authorities and parastatal organisations that rent out their own property

• Companies and organisations that rent out their own property and do not operate as real estate agents or property managers

If you are a Belgian or Luxembourg real estate agent, property manager, syndic, real estate expert or private landlord, you cannot test or purchase the Rental Inspector.

Test accounts or paid accounts for Belgian companies or organisations are only granted after approval of the application. As part of this process, the company registration number is verified.*

If you are a real estate agent, property manager, surveyor, real estate expert or private landlord based in another country than Belgium or Luxembourgh, you can test the Rental Inspector for free and subsequently purchase a subscription.*

We carry out routine checks on the actual place of establishment of each customer. It therefore makes no sense for a Belgian real estate professional to create an account in the Netherlands while being established in Belgium. If the declared country of establishment is incorrect, the account will be immediately suspended and access to account data will be revoked.
