Switching to a new device
Congratulations on your new device. Follow the steps below to start using your new tablet (or smartphone) without any data loss.
On your old device
(if you still have it and it is still working)

Complete any assignments that are still open and synchronize them, so all data is safely synced with the Rental Manager.

Then remove the Rental Inspector app from your old tablet.
On your new device

Open the App Store (Apple iPad) or Play Store (Android tablet) on your new tablet.

Search for “Chapps Rental Inspector” and download the app for free.

Open the app and sign in using your email address and password.

Allow the app to synchronize after signing in.

Go to Settings, add your signature as the inspector, and save it.
That’s it — you are now fully ready to continue working with your new tablet.
Not seeing all properties in your app?
That is perfectly normal. The app only shows properties for which you have property inspections, not the entire portfolio of your organization. You can find the full portfolio in the Rental Manager.
